Standing so high above the world really gives you a better perspective.

A dull yet productive day. Although, I did get to end it with my favorite small group - they rock. Here's a pano of Chicago. Panos are my favorite.

Cleaning out my bookshelf. If you didn't know I was a bookworm, now you do. This isn't even all of them. My name is Courtney, and I'm a book addict.

Made a quick stop on my way home from school. Nothing better than a sunny day in the midst of a cloudy winter.

I'm terribly sorry for yet another day without a new picture. I've been studying and completely lacking in the creativity department, so here's a picture that describes my feelings - dark and sad. Oh exams, how I dislike you.

Somewhat throwback to one of my favorite pictures that I've taken of people. Maddie, if you're reading this - sorry if I scared you by using your face.

Trying to make studying better with some chocolate covered blueberries.... too bad the blueberries don't like studying either.

Babysat my favorite girls tonight. That's a pretty suspicious look on her face, isn't it? A six year old took this picture by the way... I'm so proud. And don't you just love her Tinkerbell pajamas?!

Solid Friday night. Watched a movie that made Chloe, Sam and I cry and got some weird fries with Dylan. I don't ever cry in movies, so that means something. Side note: movie producers should never allow scenes that involve teens going off to college.

I find it simply amazing that drawing can evoke such stress, but at the same time it's so entirely soothing. The Luke Bryan playlist helps a little, too.

I have an explanation for this low quality picture, I swear. I have spent the last week stressing my brains out for this here folder of unless information - and spent all day wrapping it up. So here you are, hours upon hours of work in what looks to be a completely boring packet of papers.

Couldn't sit still any longer to work on my poetry presentation so I decided to take a workout break. Jillian is just as tough in a DVD as on TV, let me tell ya. Oh, do you like my socks?

A shot of the name tags from last night's wedding. See the butter on the plate in the background? Dylan thought it was cheese.

Going to a wedding tonight and I'm all ready with my favorite necklace. Do you have a turtle necklace? Didn't think so.

My assignment was to 'create a sketch that shows a theme in color theory'... I chose cool colors because, well, I'm pretty cool.

As much as I love a double snowday, it can get pretty boring. Luckily, Dylan got a new lens and we put it to action. We tried to put off going to school tomorrow... one might say we even tried to freeze time.

So today was cold. Really cold. Cold enough that if you were to boil some water and throw it up in the air, that steaming water would suddenly turn into an ice/snow mixture. If you don't believe me, here's the proof. Happy snowday.

Enjoyed some beautiful flowers on this snowy sunday. In other news, I still don't like tea... I guess I can't get my white girl license yet.

I've never been good with new years resolutions. In the past I've told myself that I'll get in shape, raise my grades or become more social. The problem is that I hate treadmills, am not very good at math and am horrifically terrible at socializing. So this year I figured I'd resolve to do something that I actually enjoy doing, taking pictures. And this year, I'll be doing so every day for the whole year. Yep, you heard me right. So here's to 2014 - I hope it's as fabulous as Fergus in a New Years crown.
